The Midwest Regional semifinal games will take place on Friday, March 28 with the winners playing the next day for a spot in the Frozen Four. On Friday, Ferris State faces Colgate at 4:30 p.m. The second game will feature top seed Wisconsin vs. North Dakota at 8 p.m. The championship game is Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

All-session tickets are $40 for three games and are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, or by going here. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Monday morning.

Wisconsin is the top seed for the Midwest Regional, representing the Big Ten Conference as is its first tournament champion. The Badgers defeated Ohio State 5-4 in overtime in the championship game on Saturday. Wisconsin finished the regular season 24-10-2 overall and 14-6-1 in the Big Ten. They are led by junior goaltender Joel Rumpel, a Hobey Baker and Mike Richter award finalist. He is 20-5-1 on the season with a 2.03 goals against average and a .930 saves percentage. The Badgers’ top offensive player is senior forward Mark Zengerle. He has 10 goals and 33 assists for 43 points on the season.

Ferris State enters the NCAA Tournament with a 28-10-3 record. The Bulldogs won the WCHA regular season title with a 20-6-2 record. They reached the WCHA Tournament championship game, where they fell to Minnesota State, 4-1, on Saturday. Ferris State is led by junior goaltender and Hobey Baker finalist CJ Motte. He is 27-8-3 on the season with a 2.25 goals against average and a .926 saves percentage. The Bulldogs’ top offensive player is senior forward Garrett Thompson. He has 16 goals and 16 assists for 32 points during the 2013-14 season.

Colgate was 20-13-5 during the regular season, and finished second in ECAC Hockey with a 13-6-3 record. The Raiders reached the championship game of the ECAC Hockey Tournament, where they fell to Union, 5-2, on Saturday. Colgate is led offensively by sophomore forward Tyson Spink. He has 10 goals and 23 assists for 33 points on the season. The Raiders’ main goaltender is freshman Charlie Finn. The ECAC Hockey Third Team honoree is 16-7-4 on the season with a 2.40 goals against average and a .916 saves percentage.

North Dakota enters the NCAA Tournament with a 23-13-3 record. It finished second in the NCHC with a 15-9-0-0 record. UND placed third in the inaugural NCHC Tournament, defeating Western Michigan in the third-place game, 5-0, on Saturday. North Dakota is led offensively by sophomore forward Rocco Grimaldi. He has 14 goals and 22 assists for 36 points on the season. Its main goaltender is sophomore Zane Gothberg. He is 18-9-3 with a 2.05 goals against average and a .923 saves percentage during the 2013-14 season.
