Venue Policies

General Policies

Each event may have exceptions to these policies, so be sure to check the event pages here before attending.

In accordance with industry standards, U.S. Bank Arena has implemented the following building entry procedures for all events (effective 1/12/2011):

  • All Jackets and bags will be searched upon entry. Purses, diaper bags and other small personal bags are allowed, but will be inspected at all gate entrances.
  • No large bags, backpacks or boxes are allowed in the building without prior authorization. 

PROHIBITED Items

The following items are not permitted inside U.S. Bank Arena:

  • Alcohol
  • Glass or Metal Containers
  • Coolers
  • Weapons of Any Kind
  • Professional Cameras
  • Non-professional cameras with detachable, long or extending lenses
  • Fireworks
  • Laser Pointers
  • Glow Sticks
  • Beachballs
  • Air horns or noisemakers of any kind
  • Aerosol spray cans
  • Tools (wrenches / pliers)
  • Pets (except service animals)
  • Chairs of Any Kind
  • Food or Drink
  • Recording Devices of Any Kind, Audio or Video
  • ANY OTHER ITEM DEEMED UNACCEPTABLE BY BUILDING MANAGEMENT

In the event ANY of these items are revealed during a search, guests will be permitted to return to their vehicle with the item or dispose of it. U.S. Bank Arena does not have an area to 'check' guest's personal belongings and will assume no responsibility for them. U.S. Bank Arena has the sole right to determine what type of pre-event search or screening will be conducted.

ARAMARK Serves you right program

Patrons 21 and over attending events at U.S. Bank Arena can receive a coupon for one free soft drink by signing an agreement not to drink alcohol and to be that night’s designated driver.  Coupons must be redeemed at the Arena’s concession stands that night and are limited to one per patron per event. 

The pledge agreements and coupons are available at all U.S. Bank Arena events at the Customer Service desk located to the right of the Arena’s main entrance. 

ASSISTED LISTENING DEVICES

RF-Style assisted listening devices and sign language interpretation services are available by making advance arrangements with U.S. Bank Arena event services at least two weeks prior to a scheduled event. Call (513) 421-4111 ext. 177 for more details.

ATMs

U.S. Bank money access machines are available on the main concourse level near sections 117 and 138.

Band-a-hand

Presented by The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati, Band-a-hand is a program that is offered during events that attract a large amount of children. A brightly colored wristband may be fastened to your child’s arm with your seat location written on the band. In the event that a child is separated from their guardian, one of the arena’s staff members will return the child to the seat written on their wristband. Tables will be set up near the entrance to the arena. Bring your child to the table & present your tickets if you wish to participate.

CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK

Our customer service desk is located on the main concourse just inside the main gate doors near section 102.

DOORS/OPENING TIMES

Doors for most events at U.S. Bank Arena open one hour before the scheduled starting time. Check the event page for specific times or changes.

EXIT AND NO RE-ENTRY POLICY

Exiting and re-enterting the Arena with the same ticket is not permitted. Each set of exit doors throughout the concourse are marked with "No Re-Entry" signs. Guests with medical situations or other emergencies who want to leave and then re-enter the building should be directed to the customer service desk on the main concourse, just inside the main gate entry doors. A U.S. Bank Arena event manager will be alerted to the situation. As a courtesy, a smoking area is provided (See Smoking Section below).

FIRST AID

Firstcare provides First Aid and paramedic services for all events at U.S. Bank Arena. The First Aid room is located near section 110.

GUEST CONDUCT

Guests may be ejected for reasons including, but not limited to the following:

  • Public Intoxication
  • Use of illegal substances or drugs
  • Disruptive behavior
  • Use of profane, obscene or abusive language of any type
  • Possession of illegal or unauthorized items inside U.S. Bank Arena
  • Unacceptable or indecent dress
  • Throwing of any objects onto the event floor or stage area, or in the seating areas.
  • Failure to follow U.S. Bank Arena Smoking Policies (See Smoking Section below)
  • Verbally abusing, threatening or intimidating other guests or Arena employees.
  • Participating in a fight
  • Entering or attempting to enter any "Off-Limits" areas such as playing surface, stage area, backstage or restroom of the opposite sex.
  • Breaking the law
  • Any action that, in the opinion of U.S. Bank Arena Mangement, places other guests in danger or reduces their enjoyment of the event.
  • Guests that are ejected from the facility may be subject to arrest. Ejected guests will not receive a refund for their tickets or be compensated in any way for their loss.

HOCKEY'S "PUCK IN PLAY" POLICY

For the safety and enjoyment of all fans, the aisles and stairways inside the arena should not be used while the puck is in play. We ask that all guests wait for a stoppage in play before moving or from their seats.

SMOKING

U.S. Bank Arena is a smoke-free facility. As a courtesy to our guests that smoke, the Arena provides an outdoor smoking area on the North side of the building, near section 130. This area is staffed and has the following procedures for use: For exit, A Ticket must be provided. Guests will receive a hand stamp and must show both ticket and stamp to re-enter.
